I know how nerve wrecking it can be to start working with someone new. I'm not only looking for clients, but a group of trusted colleagues I can collaborate with. On this page you will find what you can expect when you decide to say yes to us working together! It is my goal to put your heart ease and practice open communication from day one! I understand that as you are looking for a VA, it's not always an easy choice - after all, you're essentially shelling out cash to a complete stranger and trusting that they will do the right thing. How much will this cost? Each project starts at $500 and is custom to fit each client's objective, scope of work, and level of details needed.

In an effort to make life much easier for all parties involved I require payment for services upfront.* Payments can be made bi-monthly on the 1st & 15th or monthly on the 1st - whichever is most convenient for you! I accept payment directly from the invoice you will receive or via bank transfer, and you will have the option to set up autopay so you never miss a payment and can avoid late fees. 

Invoices must be paid before any work begins and are automatically sent out a minimum of 3 business days before they are due. Late payments incur a daily accrual rate of the outstanding balance for each day that the invoice has not been paid. Late fee must be paid before any work begins or resumes. An invoice is considered late the day after it is due. Please understand that if a payment is made late that it can cause a significant delay in work.

There are no refunds for or rolling over of any unused hours at the end of the month. All billable hours are tracked and documented each and a detailed report will be sent to you every weekend to show you exactly how the hours were spent. At the close of our 3rd month working together, I will present you with an average number of hours worked so you can better calculate the number of hours you wish to reserve. 

I understand that things may pop up last minute or during times that are not during my regularly scheduled business hours. For those times, there is a $45 surcharge for any work that needs to be completed in less than 24 hours’ notice. 

Additionally, there is a $75 surcharge for work that must be done on weekends or any listed holidays. 

These fees must be paid in advance and will be agreed upon written correspondence to which I will reply with an invoice that must be paid upon receipt before work to begin. 

I cannot guarantee availability during my non-business days and hours, but I promise to do my best to accommodate your needs if the need arises.


The key to a good working relationship is an open flow of communication. 

It is important that we have weekly or biweekly meetings so that we are on the same page at all times. During these meetings we will establish milestones for your projects. To assure that we do keep an open flow of communication, I offer complimentary  10 - 20 minute video/voice calls either weekly or on a biweekly basis (the amount of time given is based on the package purchased). 

So that I may honor the time of all parties involved, all tasks must be planned  ahead and time blocked; because of this, I do not accept tasks below a 5 day planning window. If you think of a tasks that you would like to add after we've already had our weekly or biweekly meeting, please get it to me asap via email so that it can be planned for moving forward. 

Email is to be the primary form of communication. 

I adhere to a strict confidentiality code.

No information will be divulged to a third party. All documentation sent to me will be returned upon completion + payment. I take your confidentiality very seriously – all passwords are encrypted and I use the highest level of internet security. If I need to use any sensitive information, that information will be destroyed immediately after use. 

Should the business tasks be allocated to someone internally (i.e. I bring on a new team member to support me), it is acknowledged that each team member work under the same contracts and confidentiality code as Marissa.


Referrals are my favorite way to gain new business! Any time that you generously make a referral to our business, please let us know and we will be sure to acknowledge you with a special gift!

How It Works

STEP ONE - Fill out the form. Please get in touch by filling out the form and answer each question to the best of your ability. This form gives us a preliminary view so we have everything we need before our call. Once my team reviews your submitted form, we will reach out to you with a link to book a discovery call to get to know each other and see if we make a good fit. 
 
STEP TWOSelect your offer. After our call, you’ll receive an email containing a proposal of services to review. Make your offer selection and sign the attached agreement. The legalities protect us both and is my written promise to do everything I possibly can to make our partnership a mutually benefitting win.
 
STEP THREE  - Pay your first investment. This is the final step before we get started with your new client onboarding and creating a plan for our work together. 
 
STEP FOUR  - Onboarding, Strategy Call, & Showtime.
We will schedule a 45 minute meeting to make sure we both have everything we need in order to create a seamless partnership for the duration of our project. 


FAQs

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SET UP WHAT I NEED? The timeline will vary based on the scope of your project, but new client onboarding typically takes about 24 hours from the time you sign your contract and pay your first invoice. Once your first invoice is paid and your contract has been signed, you will receive an email inviting you to schedule our Kick Off meeting. During that meeting, I will introduce you to your client portal, your detailed project board, to which you’ll have clear deadlines and a timeline every step of the way.

HOW DO I GET STARTED? I love your enthusiasm, but let's make sure we're a great fit first! Get in touch, so we can schedule a free discovery call so I can hear more about your heart and goals, and make sure I'm the right person to help. If we're both excited to work with each other, I'll send you an official custom proposal. Approve that and pay your first invoice, and you'll be officially booked on my calendar!
